Safety at home

Today morning i was reading a newspaper with a big advertisement of an apartment in the downtown of Sharjah, UAE. Other than promoting the leisure and luxury facilities they have, they comes up with the safety concerns they have taken. As said in the ad., they are offering safety system including sprinkles and zoned alarm system, high quality of electrical and mechanical standard and services, etc.

Nowdays safety become concern of everybody, and the people awareness on their own safety are increasing. Eventhough, it’s still question mark for me, is the safety system which offered by the property developer sufficient enough ?

In my apartment, I have all the safety facility similiar with the advertisement said plus availabilty of fire extinguisher, fire blanket, etc. But I am still wondering, if i had fire in the kitchen, will my family able to extinguish the fire? So, the safety training to our family is also very important to ensure that we are already doing everything to prevent any fire accident at home. And for the apartment management, should they also have to offer safety drill / mock drill for all the tenants ?

Any other idea ?
